Many of these phpBB forums can attach photos directly from the member's computer to the forum. In fact, the "mechanism" for it is present here -- below the Save Draft, Preview, and Submit buttons. "Upload attachment".

But it does not seem to work. To activate that feature probably costs money, and I have none too much of that stuff myself, so I understand.
But perhaps this would be a good time to find out how much it does costs?

By the way, I was paying Photobucket a few bucks a year to dispense with advertising on my screen. And, as mentioned somewhere around here, this should qualify me for one more year of the normal service, assuming I renewed for that last year.
Guess what. They made renewing impossible.

I used Photobucket and now I use Flikr and Village...something.

They all work on here.

Millicent, I have the same type of PB account but haven't used it since June, when I went to Flickr. There was talk that my type of account would end at the beginning of the new year, instead of March, when my account ends.

Lets see.

Uploader test:

You're right! This P.O.S. doesn't work.

So gents, what are we going to do? What we need is one 'approved' method for adding photos to posts that does not involve too much fiddling around creating accounts, making albums, setting access rights and so on. Flickr is just about OK but surely there is something simpler.
