Hi all,

To get the quiz section under way again, does anyone know what airframe this pilot sitting in?

Uhm... I was just pointing out that the image URL gives away the name of the aircraft

Hi All,

Well, that was interesting....!

You know, I never knew that one could see the image url, or identify the image in any way, till now! Right-clicking on any image will give one a list of options and 'Image Information' - one of those options, will show what that image has been saved as when up-loaded to a host such as PhotoBucket!

Well, at least we all know what it is now :D

Thanks for that info WhyMe, that is very useful to know.

Ok, as you have found it WhyMe, would you like to start Quiz # 125?

Well, dang! Kinda wish I didn't know that. Sort of ruins the contest.

Truth be known, that's why I didn't go any further.
I found the same thing when I went to save it.
I actually discovered the fact some time ago when I was entering one of my photos.

To keep that from happening, when you pick out the photo you want to enter copy it to a new folder or sub-folder and give it a new name.
Say if I was going to post a photo of the (fictional) XY-1Z for Quiz 222 I would copy the pic to a folder I have for Seawing quiz photos and change the name from XY-1Z to Q222.
Then I upload it to Photobucket, when I post it the link data just shows the name q222 and not the true name - XY-1Z.
Sounds a lot more complicated than it really is, but it only involves an extra step.

Hi Bill,

Yup, you are right. I've never bothered to do that as I have never right-clicked an image since the forums beginning in 2009!

Don't worry, I'll do just that in future... ;)

Amazin' what you can find out, isn't it!

I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to "ruin the game" or anything like this.

You can see the URL in the post when you quote it, there's no need in right clicking the image and looking into properties. It was just one of the obvious give-aways that I always look for before investing my time into a proper research.

Just change the filename before uploading an image, that's all.

I'll post a new quiz later today if no one minds.
