What I would give to take a flight in that Beaver..!
I'm delighted to see this you know, as in my view they are 'keeping the dream alive'...and whilst no-one will ever get to fly from there in an Empire ever again, at least I could fly from there, off the water, shut my eyes and open them above the bay and just for a split-second imagine what it was like back-in-the-day.
I hope it's a complete success business-wise and they keep it going until (A) I win the lottery and travel down there or (B) some kind sole sends me two tickets!
Great photo's BTW and that Beaver would make a gorgeous scale model in that colour scheme.
Good on them, I say..!
