Hi Tasse,
Is that a 58? I thought it looked like a He12 in the Lufthansa colours of Yellow wings and Light Grey fuselage.
I have a picture of a very nice model of one.

Here is the picture of the He12 i had on the home computer that i downloaded from the net somewhere (I am meaning to do one sometime).

I have just checked my book ('Heinkel and aircraft album' ) and find a picture of BOTH the He12 AND He58 (you are right the above pics are He58s) together!
The book says: "Apart from minor differences in size they were very similar in layout".
This caption shows D-1919 'Atlantik' with D-1717 'New York' (the He12 as in the model picture above).
Interestingly another picture shows D-1919 (now called 'Bremen') being catapaulted.
The book has these specifications:
both had 500hp P&W (BMW) Hornet engines
He12 He58
Span 55ft 1.25in 56ft 5.5in
Length 37ft 11in 38ft 7.75in
height 15ft 1in 15ft 5in
wt empty 3483lb 4078lb
weight max 5732lb 6922lb
max speed 134mph 127mph

No photo, Peter, just a red " X ".

HI Dogsbody,
It is showing up fine for me!?
Maybe refresh (reload) the page?
It is hosted by imageshack so should be ok unless they were down whilst you were looking?

Can you see the other pictures I posted in this thread?
