Caudron C.37 and C.39

Postby AquilaAudax » Wed Feb 18, 2015 10:21 am

Hello Seawings

I am seeking information concerning the Caudron C.39, and its participation in the Grand Prix de Monaco for Hydravions held in 1920 and 1921. The C.37 was also intended to participate in the 1920 event but had a major accident during a test flight after the installation of the floats at St Raphael.

I have just become aware of another reference that may have some useful information about those floatplanes - Alain Pelletier's Les Hydravions de Course 1913-1932 (Docavia, 2003).

Does anyone have access to that publication and can tell me if it contains any useful information about the C.39, and possibly, the C.37.

Cheers, Ray
