Martin MS-1 Floatplane

Postby emblemhunter » Sun May 29, 2011 2:59 pm

I have a question about the early Martin MS-1 Floatplane that was carried insde a pressurised tube on the deck of the submarine S-1(laterSS-105), I have seen a patch that has the title "Goodwill Ambassadors and the words MS-1 along with a pair of Navy avaiator wings and a frontal view of a floatplane(assumingly the MS-1) , Does anyone know if this patch is realted to this aircraft and what they did during the mid-late 20's with this aircraft/submarine combination ?????????

I think they may have made one or more trips to Panama , if you have anything that can help with this patch I would greatly appreciate hearing from you , thanks !!!!!!!!
