Hi Tasse

If you go to http://www.landskronakultur.se/flyghistoriayou will find a swag of images of the Thulin 'H'.

I have some high-res scans of some of the better views if you need higher quality images.

Interestingly it was the only trimotor floatplane powered by three rotary engines (obviously Thulin's own !).

Cheers, AA

Thank you AA. I had a feeling that you would come to the rescue.

Such good photos but none of it in flight.

Cheers. TASSE.

Hi Tasse

There are probably few, if any, photos of it in flight as it had major problems getting into the air. It managed a maiden flight off sea water but couldn't repeat the exercise off a fresh water lake. Most sources erroneously state that it had its first flight some time later with a wheeled undercarriage off a frozen lake - there is a photo of it being prepared for that flight. Interestingly it was displayed at the Skandinaviska Flygutställningen in May of 1918 (at Kristiania - now Oslo) with both a wheeled undercarriage and floats - a bit of two bob each way !

Cheers, AA
