Name Crests for the C Class Empires

Postby Aotearoa » Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:58 am

I am searching for the Name Crests for each of the C Class Empire Flying Boats and hope somebody on this forum may have copies of them.
I would need to find very clear copies of the originals suitable for reproduction in a book.
If anybody has them, or access to them, I'd be delighted to hear from you please.
Many thanks

What is the book, Paul?

Presumably the topic is Short flying-boats?

Well, when it is eventually published, I'll definitely be purchasing a copy to add to my already-large collection of books about flying-boats.

I know from previously-published material that you are very thorough with your research.

Thanks so much kiwithrottlejockey!
I'm working on a timeline of at least 18 months before you'll see any progress.

This is the preserved manufacturers plate for CLEOPATRA G-AFRA but I'm guessing you mean something different..a heraldic crest drawn by an artist, perhaps? Can you give us any examples? https://www.flickr.com/photos/76971536@ ... 0/sizes/l/

Hi Longshot. Here's an example of the crests I'm looking for (this is Imperial Airways Gazette Magazine 1938)

Cheers

That link doesn't work. Could you please re-post it?
