Flying Boat Cartoons

This is the place to ask for ideas such as finding a flying boat themed bar or club, share good places to find flying boat memorabilia, rate flying boat-related museums/movies/sims, and otherwise talk, well...... flying boats!! Obviously politics, swearing, rants, and trolling are right out. Anyone breaking this simple rule will be warned, then banned if repeated. Now, enjoy..!!

Drawings of Amiot 100S by Marcel Jeanjean

As far as I understand these drawing are supposed to illustrate activities performed by this reconnaissance flying boat in a funny fashion.

Nice

with a uniform to wear,
a fast aeroplane to fly,
and something to shoot at?"

Ha, that's fun!

Here's a Martin Marlin (I think):

Unfortunately I don't remember where I got it from, some random Internet search I guess...

The Martin Marlin incident actually happened.
The airplane was on a cross US flight and had engine trouble and landed in on a dry lake bed in a S.W. US desert.
Minimal damage to the airplane, so the Navy sends out a team that digs holes to mount the beaching gear, taxi the airplane forward and repair the hull damage.
Then they took off from the lake bed, dropped the beaching gear and proceeded on the the West Coast and a normal water landing.
I've got photos of it somewhere around here.
In water flying attitude is everything
