Photobucket renewal

This is the place to ask for ideas such as finding a flying boat themed bar or club, share good places to find flying boat memorabilia, rate flying boat-related museums/movies/sims, and otherwise talk, well...... flying boats!! Obviously politics, swearing, rants, and trolling are right out. Anyone breaking this simple rule will be warned, then banned if repeated. Now, enjoy..!!

Photobucket renewal

Has anyone gotten a renewal notice from Photobucket lately ? I just got slammed with an $86.00+ charge for mine I wasn't expecting that almost caused an overdraft in our joint account. No email notice, no nothing. Just curious.

I finally ditched that P.O.S. a couple years ago. As soon as they tried holding all our images hostage almost 6 years ago, I switched over to Flickr. I do now have a payable account with them because I have so many photos stored there ( 3000+ ).

I'll never go back to PB!

Yes, I abandoned my Photobucket account when they changed....unbelievable amount of damage to Internet forums! I also cut my Flickr account back to the free 999 pics with a little more later weeding out as necessary!!

I deleted a lot of my P-bucket stuff, but because I have so much here I have to keep it up & running.
Just pisses me off I never got a renewal notice & and had an auto withdrawal just a few days before my pension check came in, left way us too close for comfort.
That $86.00 was our last weeks grocery money. We didn't go hungry (I've been there before, it won't go there again), so I had enough in the pantry/freezer to squeak by.
