I think i remember seeing a vac form kit of this one listed a long time ago by one of the manufacturers can anyone help?

Also does anyone have any information on the more rare flying boat kits, manufacturers name and kit details?

I have a collection of jpg's from the Internet (including some Life Magazine photos), and some things in print, but that is about it.

Charles Ward Hall (the engineer), and Hall Aluminum is one of the important stepping stones to modern aluminum aircraft construction, and yet there is no book biography on him.

The internet is generous though and the following links turned up this:
here's a great general history from the Best of Wings Magazine:
finally, Hall was issued numerous patents, a real genius, a search of his name will turn up this:,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=a91b69f6bd0a7737&biw=1280&bih=633

Execuform had a vacform of the XPTBH-2 float torpedo bomber, but I don't recall the Hall PH-3 being kitted by anyone. Ashame as it is one of the most beautiful biplane flying boats of the era.
