Warpaint Series No 92 - Grumman HU-16 Albatross

This has just been released in the UK. Follows the usual Warpaint format and is a very colourful book with loads of nice side views although I was a bit disappointed that the civilian and survivors story is glossed over in one short para and with no photos/drawings. See http://www.guidelinepublications.co.uk/ ... CONTENT=83 The link currently shows the Albatross book although it may change in time - if so, search under Volume 92.

I cannot vouch for the general accuracy of the book/drawings as the Albatross is not my specialist interest but it seems to be worth having.

First I've heard of it David, Thanks for the heads up.
Information on the Albatross is rather thin on the ground, so almost anything new surely has to be an improvement.
Agree, it's a shame about the civil side being neglected, but that seems to be the norm.
Apparently if it doesn't have a gun or a swastika no one seems to care about it.

In water flying attitude is everything
