Hi Guys n Gals,

a mate from the EAA sent me this link to scanned copies of the magazine that became 'Flying'.

It's an awesome collection and there'll be loads of flying boat and floatplane stuff to keep you entertained for months!

So have a look and let me know what you think, it's the best thing I've seen for years!

Hi Bryan,

Did you know that there is a nifty little free programme that allows you to download from Google Books and save the whole book/magazine as a .pdf file? Its called Google Books Downloader

http://www.gbooksdownloader.com/

Then you can browse at your leisure, only limitation is that you can only download 3 books per day

I thought I'd dip in to try one of my more obscure searches for my Burma research so I looked up 1945, spotted an obvious float-plane cover, did a quick search for "Stinson" and low-and-behold, first page as an advert/article on L1A fitted with EDO floats "rescuing" wounded in the Burmese Jungle, with drawings...

I can't thank you enough for that link...

It might take a little more than one pot of coffee for this little lot...

Hmm... where to begin...?

(quick useful hint - disconnect your hub or network connection, reconnect to net = downloader reset to three to download ;) )
