White Water Landings

I am currently reading a book called “White Water Landings by J M Pett, Recollections by Geoffrey Pett (the author's father). ISBN:9781320766913 (hardcover edition).

It is a fascinating tale about Imperial Airways' Empire flying-boat operations in Africa from the perspective of a ground-staff employee.

I am about half-way through reading the book and I would highly recommend it if you are interested in Short civil flying-boat operations.

I purchased my copy via Amazon UK and it was delivered to me in NZ 11 days after I ordered it.

See more info at: http://whitewaterlandings.co.uk or at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1320766919.

I bought a copy of this too and can highly recommend it if you are at all interested in the pre-war and wartime Empire Air Service.
