I suppose if you had an Empire Flying Boat and wanted to do some home maintenance this might be of use:

Hi Allan,

Nice to see you around again!

Silly question but has anyone actually skipped through the pages of this volume, yet?

Reason I ask is that I was wondering if it is 'simply' a 're-print' of Brian's classic work 'FLYING EMPIRES', altered/converted to fit the Haynes format in some way, or a more-or-less completely new volume?

Anyone know?
Best Regards,

I haven't seen the Haynes book yet, but I have recently corresponded with Brian and I believe there is quite a bit of new material in it.

It a nice book. It does indeed seem to have some new information in it but it is also structured quite differently - and quite readable.
