Sir Gordon Taylor: Bird of the Islands (Cassell Australia, 1964). Describes Taylor's last flying adventure - a business venture flying a passenger-version Sunderland around the Pacific, carrying tourists. Sounds dull, but is anything but. My favorite book of his.

Sir Gordon Taylor: The Sky Beyond (Ballantyne, 1963). Basically, his autobiography. Well written, and of course heavily weighted toward flying boats, especially Catalinas.

Graham Coster: Corsairville The Lost Domain of the Flying Boat (Penguin, 2000).

William Green: Flying Boats: Volume 5 of War Planes of the Second World War (Doubleday, 1971)

William Green: Floatplanes: Volume 6 of War Planes of the Second World War (Doubleday, 1971)

John Stroud: The World's Civil Marine Aircraft (The Bodley Head, 1975)

Captain Richard C. Knott, USN: The American Flying Boat an illustrated history (Naval Institute Press, 1979). As good a coverage of the subject as I've ever seen.

H. F. King: Aeromarine Origins (Putnam, 1966)

Is there any interest on this forum in technical literature (e.g. design and engineering texts related to marine aircraft)?
