... on the shores of beautiful Sproat Lake.

These pictures were taken during a visit in 2000, when the 'boats were operated by Forest Industries Flying Tankers, a company owned by a couple of forest products companies.

As you can see the gear is colour coded for ease of installation in the water.

No. Not that I took. I saw them only on the water.

TASSE: You asked if I'd taken any of the Mars on its beaching gear. I wasn't able to take any when you'd asked, but on a subsequent trip, I was able to do so. Here are some of those.

You can see that the beaching gear have jacks under them to relieve the stress on the tires, ans the boat is sitting on the beaching gear for substantial periods of time.
