Guess this is the best place to put this as the with out the props,
the aircraft would have difficulty flying
My sources (plans/technical drawing), state that the Diameter for the Mk III (Pegasus XVIII)
propeller is 12 feet 6 inches. Measuring between cut way plans and drawings this about right.
I have come across some modelling sites selling after market propellers etc that claim that
for the Mk I-III, it should be 13 feet 6 inches. It seems way to large for me as a propeller diameter
for a Sunderland.
None of my books give any info either.
Anyone have any technical data to verify, please?
Second question, Mk V propeller diameter, I understand it to be Hamilton Std 12 feet 6 inches also.
My copy of the Mk V Pilots/Flight Engineers notes mention the propeller, but
no techincal data on diameters etc, again anyone have techical data to verify please?
