Bouncing this question again....does anybody (perhaps with connections to the Biscaroffe museum?) have any information on this Sandringham (LN-LAI) and 'France-Hydro SA' (formerly SEMAF)the company chartering it when it was lost near Bangui in 1952. France Hydro more famously lost a Latecoere 631 F-BDRE down there in September 1955 viewtopic.php?f=14&t=857&p=7108&hilit=france+hydro#p7108
what kind of information are you looking for? I found some information on French magazines, but much more. I am still translating this as I did not like my original translation.
Thanks, Rob....Looking for any information on the France Hydro operation . The story that the flying boats were carrying cotton bales sounds a little unlikely. Photos would be interesting ,too Mick
