Taken back when floatplanes were commonplace on the lake and Queenstown was a sleepy holiday village.

Today, the place has gone nuts and the entire hill visible in the background in that photograph is covered in upmarket homes and hotels.

I tend to avoid Queenstown like the plague these days.
