In Brian Cassidy's Haynes book on p98 he states that Clifton G-AFPZ and Cleopatra G-AFRA were delivered in camouflage. I've got some doubts about Clifton and I think it got the new early 1940 Speedbird/Globe BOAC logo from the factory and later camouflaged possibly with a large Union Jack on the nose ( perhaps November 1940 or later). I've never seen a photo of Cleopatra in camouflage and the well known IWM aerial photo shows it in a later bare metal scheme with a small Speedbird on the nose ... rHt8EeiXUM: (New 1940 BOAC Speedbird/globe logo) ... 80&bih=703
( claimed to be Clifton but I can't read a registration confirming it) ... /205210610 Cleopatra ca. 1944?
