Hi Bryan. How far can i go ? I think that there is enough on this thread for your friend to build a detailed model
what ever size that he may choose.

Cheers Roy.

Hello, I am new at this forum. and I am the one that asked Bryan for information about the Supermarine Southampton. I would like to build a R/C controlled model in scale 1:10 because I think this is a very beautifil plane. Thanks to everbody that have put in information here for me. This will be my project for a long time. If there is any more information out there, donĀ“t hesitate to contact me.

Best regards to all

Peter

Hi Peter. Glad that all this helps. If i find any more info i will add it to this thread. I like big models, i build to 1/4 scale myself. Good luck with the project and show us some construction photos from time to time.

Cheers TASSE.

Hello, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but it seems the logical place so ..

I'm looking into building one of these for a flight sim, however there doesnt seem to be a lot of info about for the cockpit and what each lever/switch/knob etc does and whats on the sides. All the pictures of the one at Hendon are of the left side. Does anyone have any info? If theres a manual floating about somewhere that'd be great as well!

Thanks in advance

Steve

Hi Steve,

I have a series of walkround images of this, one of my all time favourite 'boat's. I actually used to play around this very one whilst it was residence at Felixstowe Ferry, so it holds a lot of memories for me.

If you want these, email me and I'll set up a DropBox folder for you to link to.
