Latham 47 plans wanted - Amundsen's flying boat

Postby seawings » Sun Sep 15, 2013 10:07 am

Hi All,

Anyone know where I can find a decent set of plans for Amundsen's Latham 47 flying boat - the Artic explorer, he went missing in it south of Spitsbergen in 1928.?

Incidentally, the reason I ask is that a documentary company are completing their film on Amundsen and the disappearance, and because (obviously) there are no surviving Latham 'boats around, need to add some C.G.I. of the flight into their film.

Go and have a look here; you will be impressed at what they have accomplished so far......

Apparently, there might be a decent plan in Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft 1930...........

Cheers,
