Hello everyone! Looking for detailed drawings of the Napier Lion engine for Supermarine Southampton. As well as its location and attachment points on the wing. As well as the attachment points of the wing struts.Thanks.

Its worth looking on ebay etc for copies of the Napier Lion manual on DVD. A Series V preferably although a Series IIB is pretty much the same. The images below are from that.

Drawings of the Southampton's engine mounts and struts appeared in Flight but with the archive offline check NACA Aircraft Circular No25, which is a copy of all the articles. You can find that on the Seawings site under Flying Boat Manuals
