I hope the mods will be OK with this as it is non-profit making: Our wonderful Catalina 'Miss Pick Up' reaches the grand old age of eighty later this year. Built for the Royal Canadian Air Force (as a 'Canso A") she was delivered in October 1943 and has flown almost continuously ever since. Used both during and after World War Two by the RCAF, she later had a second career as a commercial aircraft, first as a firefighting waterbomber and then as a much-loved airshow 'star', a role she continues still. Her full story is told in a beautiful new book that we have produced to commemorate this landmark birthday. 'Miss Pick Up at eighty - the story so far' is a 50-page A4 landscape book that tells her full history in text and superb photos. All surplus proceeds will go towards keeping this wonderful flying boat in the air and we hope you will want to buy a copy. It can be obtained here https://www.catalina.org.uk/product/new ... ry-so-far/
